2. The Service
Vita provides tools for obesity-care support, GLP-1 and similar treatment journey support, care coordination, and related features as we make available. Features may include messaging, scheduling, adherence tracking, health data integrations (where you grant permission), and educational content.
2.1 Not medical advice
The Service is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or receive through the Service.
Emergency: If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
2.2 No doctor-patient relationship
Use of the Service alone does not create a doctor-patient relationship, prescription, or guaranteed treatment outcome unless a licensed provider explicitly agrees to that relationship through a separate clinical arrangement governed by applicable law.
3. Accounts and sign-in (including Google OAuth)
You may create an account using email or supported sign-in providers (e.g., Sign in with Google). You agree that:
- You will provide accurate information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.
- You will notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
When you use Google or other OAuth providers, your use is also subject to their terms and privacy policies. We receive information from those providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
Vita requests only the basic identity scopes (openid, email, profile) from Google. We do not request access to your Google Calendar, Google Meet, Gmail, Drive, or any other sensitive Google data. You can revoke Vita’s Google access at any time from your Google Account’s third-party permissions page.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security or legal risk.

- Scrape, mine, or automate access beyond what we expressly permit.
- Use the Service to transmit PHI or sensitive data except as permitted by the product design and applicable law.
We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement.
5. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, and display such content solely to operate, improve, and provide the Service, subject to our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this license.
6. Fees and payment
Certain features may be paid. Prices and terms are presented at purchase. Payments are processed by third-party processors. You agree to their terms where applicable. Taxes may apply.
Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, branding, and content we provide (excluding your content), is owned by us or our licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.
8. Third-party services
The Service may integrate third-party services (e.g., Google, hosting, AI). Those services are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of liability

13. Changes
We may modify these Terms. We will post updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice (e.g., in-app). Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
